The pair has moved slowly up, gaining point 37% or 44 pips to hit the daily high just pips below the 1 19 level. Spreads were slightly bumpy yesterday at 11 PM GMT, but 1.2 pips is the biggest separation you should have seen. The Cable’s long term average and maximum spreads are point 94 and 1.9 pips respectively. Pound/Dollar has surged by a total of point 51% or 68 pips to hit the daily high of 1 3415. While most of the past 24 hours have been calm in terms of spreads, they were up to 1.9 pips yesterday at 11 PM. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has a daily average of point 49 pips. Peak separation has been 2 pips. The pair has been mostly trading sideways and the biggest move is an increase of point 21% or 24 pips. Spreads peaked today at 12:54 AM as the pair hit the daily high, but 2 pips is the line that shouldn’t have been crossed.
