All three average spreads are below point 4 pips for the Euro/Dollar. Spreads peaked at 3.2 pips during the last hour. This pair moved North by point 34% or 43 pips, but it has since given up most of the gains as it declined from the high of 1 2715. German IFO Survey was released today at 9 o`clock in the morning and that’s the time of the peak daily spread. Both of the sides stayed separated for a while, but you shouldn’t have seen a gap bigger than 3.2 pips. Let’s move on to the Cable, which has long term average spread of 1.36 pips. Both of the sides were 3.8 pips apart today. Start of this week has been bullish for the Pound/Dollar, it has gained point 3% or 49 pips. Spreads were higher than usual for a while today at 9 o`clock here as well, but make sure your broker hasn’t charged you more than 3.8 pips. And last up for this report is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average of point 35 pips. Spreads were up to 1.1 pips during the last 4 hours. Greenback has been moving sharply down against the Yen and the pair has declined by a total of point 58% or 63 pips. Spreads have been generally calm this week, peaking at only 1.1 pips today shortly after 6 o`clock during a rise. That`s it for now. We`ll be updating these stats on an hourly basis, so stay tuned.
