We are heading towards weekend, so let’s see what’s moving and shaking on the FX Markets at 3 PM GMT. There are some significant rate shifts and Sterling/Yen is the top mover with a drop of 1.45%. The pair has been on a slide throughout the session so far. US stock indexes are hovering near the opening level and top shows a mixed picture as safe-haven Japanese Yen is close to level with the New Zealand Dollar. Oil has retreated from the recent highs, but Loonie Dollar is mostly higher. Preliminary first quarter US GDP surprised on upside and Greenback is point 13% up from the Swiss Franc, which is close to level with the Australian Dollar and the Single currency. Narrowing UK election polls have dragged the Sterling lower and it’s the most bearish major at the moment. Weekly bulls chart has a couple of pairs that have advanced by more than 2% and New Zealand/Swissie is the top gainer. Sterling/New Zealand shows the top slide and it’s down by 3.77%. Euro/Sterling leads the monthly bulls table with a gain of 3.18%. Sterling/New Zealand stands 2.88% in the red and it’s trailed closely by Australia/New Zealand.
