We are half way through this week’s last trading day so let’s find out how it has been shaping up for the market players. Euro/Dollar rose gradually during the early trading hours, but a following decline took the rate back towards the 1 10 level. Traded volume is average and the neutral sentiment of the traders is almost at a balance. Bulls had their chances during the rise, but the following decline was good news for those who were short. Pound/Dollar hit the daily high of 1 4043 after 9 o’clock, but all of the gain was wiped out in a following drop. The Cable has attracted an average amount of funds and the neutral sentiment of the traders is just 10% long. Both sides have had their chances for profits as the trend has changed. Dollar/Yen moved South for hours, but most of the loss was cancelled out as the rate rose from the daily low. This instrument sees more than double the monthly average funds and the neutral sentiment of the traders is close to a balance. There have been plenty of chances for both sides as the trend has changed. Pound/Yen was point 32% in the red at noon after walking in a total range of 137 pips. This pair sees just slightly more than half of the monthly average funds and the neutral sentiment of the traders is 7% long. Changing trend has provided both sides with their chances, but the passive trading is the limiting factor. Euro/Yen has been trending lower and it stood point 29% in the red at midday. Turnover is 39% down from the pair’s typical and most of the market players have been forecasting the rate to head South.
