Spreads have been mostly calm and the biggest gap of only 2 pips took place yesterday at 1:45 PM during a decline. Moving on to the Cable, long term average is slightly above 1 pip and peak separation has been 3.1 pips. Pound/Dollar’s daily high and low difference is 78 pips and it was recorded as the rate moved North by a half a percent. Spreads were higher than usual for a while yesterday shortly after 11 PM GMT, but you shouldn’t have seen a gap bigger than 3.1 pips. And the last pair for this report is Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 39 and 2.5 pips respectively. This pair has moved sharply down from the high of 118 58, declining by point 75% or 89 pips. Spreads were at their highest point yesterday at 11 PM GMT, but anything far above the max of 2.5 pips shouldn’t be tolerated. That’s it for Tuesday’s main Spike Controller.
