The preliminary estimate shows the largest Euro Zone economy has returned to growth, following a point 2% decline the previous quarter. UK Mortgage Approvals for October are due at 9:30. The number of approvals has been declining for the past three months and now stands at its lowest level in more than a year. Bank of England Governor Mark Carney will be giving a closely watched speech at 10 o’clock in the morning when he will be testifying on the Inflation Report at Treasury Select Committee hearing in London. The highly anticipated second estimate of US third quarter GDP will be released at 1:30 PM GMT. The preliminary version shows strong and continued growth, albeit at a slower pace than the 4.2% gain the previous quarter. Canadian Retail Sales for September are out at the same time. August results surprised on the downside as decline was recorded in most subsectors. US House Price Index for September follows at 2 o’clock. The Index grew more than expected in August, following a point 2% increase in July. The closely watched US Consumer Confidence for November will be released at 3 o’clock. The Index rebounded in October and now stands at its highest level in seven years. And last up at half past midnight is Australian Construction Work done for the third quarter.
