Spreads have averaged at point 32 pips during the past 24 hours for the Euro/Dollar. Peak separation has been 1.3 pips. The pair continues moving around the 1 18 level and the biggest move has been a decline of point 36% or 42 pips. US jobless claims report sent the spreads slightly up yesterday at a half past noon GMT, but the biggest separation was just 1.3 pips. The Cable’s daily average spread is point 81 pips and both of the sides were 2.9 pips apart yesterday. Long term high and low difference is 46 pips and it was posted as the pair declined by point 36%. US jobless claims report has had the most pressure on the spreads here as well, but 2.9 pips is the line that shouldn’t have been crossed. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 33 and 1.4 pips respectively. The pair has moved towards the 110 level, gaining point 6% or 66 pips. Spreads were at their highest point yesterday at a half past noon GMT here as well, but 1.4 pips is the most you should have been charged.
