Euro/Dollar’s long term average spread is point 39 pips and peak separation of 1.1 pips was posted during the past hour. Trend has changed while the pair trades above the 1 16 level and the biggest move is a decline of point 38%. Spreads have been mostly narrow, peaking at just 1.1 pips today at 9:27 in the morning. The Cable’s daily average spread is 1.24 pips and both of the sides were 2.8 pips apart early in the session. Long term high and low difference is 54 pips and it was posted as the pair declined by point 41%. Spreads were slightly bumpy minutes after midnight GMT, but 2.8 pips is the line that shouldn’t have been crossed. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 45 and point 8 pips respectively. The pair depreciated by a total of point 6% or 66 pips as it moved South of the 110 level. No major separations have been posted over the past 24 hours, maximum has been just point 8 pips.
