Sales dropped in August as home buyers were not particularly eager to go shopping in the middle of hurricane season. A high importance release for Loonie Dollar traders is out at the same time, as Bank of Canada will release its latest Monetary Policy Statement. No rate hikes are expected, but there’s a press conference at quarter past 3, which could provide some unexpected questions and answers. And New Zealand September Trade Balance concludes the schedule at 9:45. Trade balance turned negative in August, following 5 months of surplus, driven by a strong growth in petrol imports.
