Tuesday brings the latest PMIs from around the world, so let’s take a quick look.
The preliminary October PMIs from several Euro Zone countries are up first thing in the morning, starting with the French indices at 7. German PMIs follow half an hour later, and data for the entire currency bloc is out at 8. Both the services and manufacturing PMIs surprised on the upside in September as German and French economies picked up speed.
Coming up next at 1:45 PM GMT is the US Markit Preliminary PMI for October. The Manufacturing PMI inched slightly higher in September, but the services PMI fell more than expected.
And all the Aussie Dollar traders may want to tune in at half past midnight for the high importance third quarter Australian CPI. The annual inflation eased in the second quarter as higher medical costs were reversed by declines in domestic travel and fuel prices.
I’m Jack Everitt and this was the Economic Calendar for Tuesday, the 24th of October. Check back in for the next overview of news releases for Wednesday. Goodbye.
