Peak separation of 1.4 pips was posted during the past 4 hours. The pair has been trending lower, declining by a total of point 62% or 73 pips. Spreads have been mostly calm, both of the sides moved by 1.4 pips apart today at 7:30 in the morning. The Cable’s daily average spread is point 87 pips and maximum separation has been 2.1 pips. Pound/Dollar has depreciated by a total of point 59% or 78 pips to hit the daily low of 1 3071. Spreads were slightly elevated yesterday at 2 PM GMT as the US existing home sales stats were out, but 2.1 pips is the line that shouldn’t have been crossed. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 44 and point 7 pips respectively. Trend has shifted for this pair and the biggest move was a rise of point 44% or 49 pips. Spreads have been relatively narrow, peaking at only point 7 pips yesterday minutes before midnight.
