Second estimate of the UK GDP was released today at 9:30 AM, sending the spreads higher, but 3.5 pips is the most you should have been charged. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 28 and 2.3 pips respectively. Daily high and low difference is 111 pips and it was posted as the pair dropped by close to 1%. Spreads were higher than usual yesterday at 7 PM as the pair declined, but anything far above the max of 2.3 pips should be questioned.
