The Index slipped in the negative territory in August as industrial production and personal consumption both went down. Canadian Wholesale Trade for August is out at the same time. Sales rebounded in July, reversing a point 6% slip the previous month. Euro Zone Preliminary Consumer Confidence for October follows at 2. The Index inched higher in September and now stands well above its long-term average. And Yen traders may want to tune in at half past midnight for the preliminary Japanese October Manufacturing PMI.
