Euro/Dollar’s long term average spread is point 3 pips and both of the sides were 1 and a half pips apart during the past 4 hours. Daily high and low difference is 54 pips and it was posted as the pair gained point 46%, moving towards the 1 18 level. Spreads have been mostly narrow and peak of just 1.5 pips took place today at 7:32 in the morning. The Cable’s daily average and maximum spreads are point 72 and 1.6 pips respectively. Pound/Dollar has declined by a total of point 42% or 54 pips to hit the low of 1 2792. Spreads were elevated for a number of ticks yesterday minutes after 11 PM, but 1.6 pips is the line that shouldn’t have been crossed. Last up for this report is the Dollar/Yen, which has a daily average of point 32 pips. Peak separation has been point 7 pips. The pair gained point 64% or 70 pips, but it has since retreated from the high of 109 83. No major separations have been recorded – peak of just point 7 pips took place today at 3 AM.
