This pair has been moving South from the high of 1 1364 and it has declined by a total of point 55% or 62 pips. Spreads have been mostly narrow and the peak of only 1.4 pips took place today at 7:26 in the morning as the rate declined. The Cable’s daily average spread is 1 pip and both of the sides separated by 7.9 pips during the last 4 hours. Pound/Dollar’s long term high and low difference is 100 pips and it was posted as the rate gained point 65%. Spreads were sent higher by the UK retail sales release today at 8:30 in the morning, so let’s see what happened. Both of the sides were 7.9 pips apart shortly before the rise, which is when they moved back closer once again. Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average of point 44 pips. Maximum separation of 1.3 pips was posted just minutes ago. Last 24 hours show bearish pattern here, the pair has depreciated by point 4% or 48 pips.
