Spreads have been generally calm and the biggest separation of just point 9 pips took place today at 8:30 in the morning during a rise. The Cable’s long term average is 1.33 pips, but both the 1 and 4 hour averages are much lower. Daily max is 2.3 pips. Pound/Dollar’s long term high and low difference of 79 pips was recorded during a rise of point 49%, but last 4 hours have been bearish here. Spreads were slightly elevated yesterday at 11:10 PM GMT, but make sure you haven’t been charged more than 2.3 pips so far this week. And wrapping ups this overview is Dollar/Yen, which has a daily average spread of point 36 pips. Both of the sides moved 1.1 pips apart during the last 4 hours. This pair moved sharply down from the high of 109 19, dropping by point 49% or 53 pips, but most of the loss was recovered in a following surge.
