We`re back with this week’s first primary Spike Controller report, providing you with the benchmark interbank price data. Euro/Dollar’s spreads have averaged at point 4 pips so far this week, peaking at 1.4 pips. Daily high and low difference is 35 pips and it was posted as the rate gained point 32%, but most of the gain has been wiped out by a following decline. Spreads have been mostly calm, peaking at only 1.4 pips yesterday at 11 PM GMT. The Cable’s long term average and maximum spreads are 1.34 and 5.5 pips respectively. Pound/Dollar rose by a total of point 28% or 41 pips, but it has dropped from the high of 1 4930. Spreads were at their highest point yesterday at 11:14 PM GMT, but the max of 5.5 pips lasted just a single tick. Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has a daily average of point 48 pips. Maximum separation has been 1.6 pips. Buck has gained ground against the Yen, the pair rose by a total of point 39% or 47 pips. No major separations have been recorded here and the max of just 1.6 pips took place yesterday shortly after 11 PM. I’m Monica Gibson and this was the main Spike Controller for Monday.
