You’re watching the Economic Calendar for Monday, the 21st of August. Let’s see which news releases stand out.
UK Rightmove House Price Index for August is up first at 11:01 the previous evening. Home prices did return to growth in July, following a point 4% drop the previous month.
New Zealand Credit Card Spending for July follows at 3 AM. Spending continued growing in June, and at a faster pace than the 7.6% gain recorded in May.
Japanese All Industry Index for June is out at half past 4. The Index eased in May, partially reversing a strong 2.3% gain a month ago.
UK Public Sector Net Borrowing for July will be available at 8:30. The June budget deficit surprised on the downside, but it was smaller than the 7.5 billion deficit posted in June 2016.
And coming up next at 12:30 PM GMT is Canadian Wholesale Trade for June. Sales continued growing in May and now stand at a record-high level.
