According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis, current account deficit widened in the final quarter of last year to lightly more than 128 billion US Dollars from 101.5 billion in the third quarter. It’s the final day of the ECB Forum on Central Banking in Sintra, Portugal and there will be a high importance policy panel at 1:30 PM, where the ECB President Mario Draghi, Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda, RBA Governor Philip Lowe and Fed Chairman Jerome Powell will all participate. US Existing Home Sales for May are up next a half an hour later. Sales declined by 2 and a half percent in April to 5.46 million with a median sales price of close to 258 thousand US Dollars, which is 5.4% up from a year ago level. Then we have a potential Kiwi Dollar mover out at 10:45 PM as New Zealand GDP stats for first quarter are out. Economy expanded by point 6% in the final quarter of last year, matching the third quarter’s growth. Higher activity in the service industries was offset by a fall in the primary industries. Then the Reserve Bank of Australia will release their bulletin for June at 1:30 in the morning. The Swiss National Bank will publish their Financial Stability Report for 2018 at 4:30 in the morning.
