Trade surplus did narrow in December, but the trade data still surprised on the upside as exports posted annual growth for the first time in 15 months. UK Rightmove House Price Index for February follows one minute past midnight. Home prices returned to growth in January, following 2 months of decline. German Producer Price Index for January is out at 7. The Index has been rising for the past 3 months as consumer goods, capital goods and energy prices all are up. Coming up next at 1:30 PM GMT is the Canadian Wholesale Trade for December. Sales continued growing in November, but at a much slower pace than the 1.3% gain the previous month. Euro Zone Preliminary Consumer Confidence for February will be available at 3. The Index saw little change in January, remaining at its highest level in 20 months. Reserve Bank of Australia will release the Minutes of its February meeting at half past midnight. The meeting brought no changes to the monetary policy, but the minutes could provide some idea about the future course of action. And Japanese Preliminary Manufacturing PMI for February is out at the same time. The January Index surprised on the upside, reaching its highest level in more than a year.
