Find out if news events have influenced the spread levels during the past 24 hours by watching the Dukascopy Spike Controller.
Euro/Dollar’s long term average spread is point 3 pips and peak separation has been 1.2 pips.
The pair has resumed climbing higher and it has gained point 69% or 84 pips to approach the 1 23 level.
Spreads haven’t been as volatile as the rate movement, peak of only 1.2 pips took place yesterday at 11 PM GMT.
The Cable’s daily average spread is point 81 pips and max of 2.9 pips was posted less than an hour ago.
Pound/Dollar has been on a rise, gaining point 83% or 115 pips to hit the daily high of 1 3945.
UK retail sales were published today at 9:30 in the morning and that’s the time of the peak spread, but 2.9 pips is the most you should have been charged.
And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 33 and 1.1 pips respectively.
Past 24 hours have been Greenback bearish and the pair has dropped by point 78% or 87 pips.
No major separations have been recorded here, max of only 1.1 pips took place yesterday at 11 PM GMT.
