Swiss Producer Price Index for December follows at quarter past 8, and the Swiss Index actually came in stronger than expected in November, driven by higher petrol, chemical and pharmaceutical product prices. British December Retail Sales are out at at half past 9. Sales have been growing for the past 2 months, and November data showed the impact of Black Friday sales. Coming up next at 1:30 PM GMT are the Canadian Manufacturing Shipments for November. Sales slipped quite unexpectedly in October, reversing a point 4% gain the previous month. And the highly anticipated preliminary reading of University of Michigan Consumer Confidence for January concludes the schedule at 3.
