Hello, I`m Sinead MacLaughlin and you’re watching the Dukascopy Movers and Shakers, where you can find out how the 8 major currencies line up at 3 PM GMT. Euro/Canada staged a late rise, moving sharply up after 7 o`clock and the pair stands point 6% in the green, posting the day’s biggest move. There are two currencies trading in an extremely narrow range on top of the advancers and decliners table. Single currency was sent higher as German investor confidence rose and it’s almost level with the Swiss Franc. Ozzy Dollar moved North following the RBA monetary policy announcement showing interest rates will remain on hold for an extended period of time. New Zealand Dollar rose ahead of a dairy auction and it’s trailing the neighboring Ozzy Dollar by a fraction. UK Core inflation stood unchanged at 1.5% and Sterling is in the lower section of the chart. Japanese Yen dropped as Abe said he will dissolve parliament on November the 21st and Yen is currently level with the other safe-haven US Dollar. Loonie Dollar wraps up the advancers and decliners table as the most bearish major. Moving on to longer terms, New Zealand/Yen has appreciated the most over a week and it’s up by 4.73%. Sterling/New Zealand is the most bearish pair and it’s more than 4% in the red. New Zealand/Yen tops the monthly bulls chart with an increase of 10.26%.
