Plenty of FX movers are on the agenda for this Wednesday, so let’s take a look with the Dukascopy Economic Calendar.
A couple of UK publications for March will be available at 8:30 in the morning, including the closely watched Consumer Price Index. The overall inflation slowed down in February from 3% in January.
Producer Prices is the other item out at this time. Input prices dropped in February by 1.1%, but output prices were flat.
Final Euro Zone Consumer Price Index for March follows at 9 o’clock. Euro area annual inflation is expected to be 1.4% in March, up from 1.1% in February, according to a flash estimate from Eurostat.
Then the day’s key event for Loonie Dollar traders follows at 2 PM GMT as Bank of Canada releases their latest monetary policy announcement.
US Federal Reserve Beige book for April will be available at 6 PM GMT.
The high importance first quarter New Zealand Consumer Price Index is up next at a quarter to 11 PM. Inflation accelerated in the final quarter of last year, but slower than expected at point 1% quarter on quarter.
Another high importance event wraps up this agenda at 1:30 in the morning and it’s Australian Labour Force Survey for March. Employment increased by 17 and a half thousand and unemployment rate edged slightly higher to 5.6% in February.
