The second quarter results came in stronger than expected, as most of the sectors saw growth. The closely watched preliminary estimate of third quarter Japanese GDP comes at ten minutes to midnight. Japanese economy saw a sharp drop in the second quarter as it felt the impact of the April sales tax hike. Euro Zone Trade Balance for September is out at 10 AM. Trade surplus widened more than expected in August as imports fell faster than exports. Empire State Manufacturing Survey for November follows at 1:30 PM GMT. The Index plunged in October from 27.5 points the previous month. European Central Bank President Mario Draghi will be delivering a closely watched speech at 2, when he will be testifying on Monetary Policy before the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs, in Brussels. US Industrial Production for October is due at quarter past two. Industrial output rebounded in September, fuelled by strong growth in utilities and manufacturing. Australian Conference Board Leading Index for September will be available at 11 o’clock in the evening. The Index inched lower in August, pushed lower by a drop in building approvals. And last up at half past midnight are the Reserve Bank of Australia Monetary Policy Meeting Minutes. This release is of high importance to Aussie Dollar traders as it could provide hints on the Bank’s future course of action.
