Hello, I’m Sam Meredith with another Economic Calendar. Here’s a closer look at the most important news releases scheduled for Monday, the 20th of April. Kiwi Dollar traders may want to tune in on 10:45 the previous evening when the closely watched New Zealand First Quarter Consumer Price Index is released. The Index slipped in the last quarter of 2014, and, repeating a similar pattern, much of the decline came from lower fuel prices. Japanese Tertiary Industry Index for February follows at 11:50. The Index came in stronger than expected in January, having stood unchanged the previous month. German Producer Price Index for March is out at 6 AM. The Index declined in February as declining energy, intermediate and non-durable goods prices reversed gains in capital and durable consumer goods prices. Euro Zone Construction Output for February will be available at 9. Output returned to growth in January, following two months of decline. Chicago Fed National Activity Index for March is up next at 12:30 PM GMT. The Index inched lower in February in light of declining manufacturing output. And Reserve Bank of Australia will release the closely watched Minutes of its April meeting at 1:30 AM.
