Hello, I`m Imogen Comrie and it`s time for the Midday Snapshot where we`ll see how traders have managed to work out the rate movements during the morning session on this Thursday. Euro/Dollar moved sharply down and it was point 6% in the red at 12 o`clock after rising from the daily low. Traders have used 43% more than usual funds trading this pair and the sentiment is neutral, at a balance. Steep decline makes profits more likely for market players with short positions. Pound/Dollar was back at the opening level at noon after trading in a total range of 87 pips. The Cable has attracted just 19% less than typical funds and the sentiment is neutral, 14% long. Success depends on the timing of the trades as a single trend hasn’t formed. Dollar/Yen rose up to approximately 7 o`clock, but a following slide has resulted in a loss of point 19%. Traded volume is high, 88% up from the monthly average and the sentiment is neutral, 12% short. Early hours should be successful for bulls, but the following slide was good news for bearish market players. Pound/Yen dropped after 7 o`clock as well and the rate stood point 19% in the red after 12 hours of trading. Turnover is 36% up from the monthly average and the sentiment is neutral, 1% short.
