Canadian Manufacturing Sales for January are out at the same time. Sales were down by point 3% in the final month of last year to 55.5 billion Canadian Dollars. The decline was mainly the result of lower sales in the petroleum and coal products industry and the food manufacturing industry. US Industrial Production numbers for February follow at a quarter past 1. Production edged down point 1% in January following four consecutive monthly increases.
