Monday’s Economic Calendar brings an important news publication for Aussie Dollar traders, so let’s take a closer look. Coming up first at 11:50 the previous evening is Japanese fourth quarter Tankan Large Manufacturers Index. The Index lost 3 points in the third quarter, but it remains well above zero. Japanese Tertiary Industry Index for October is out at 4:30 AM. The Index surprised on the downside in September as a drop in broad-ranging personal services reversed an increase in business services. Euro Zone Industrial Production for October will be available at 10. Industrial output has been declining for the past two minths on the back of weaker Chinese demand. There’s a break in the schedule until half past midnight, when the Reserve Bank of Australia will publish the closely watched Minutes of its December meeting. This meeting brought no changes to the monetary policy, but the previous minutes did note the bank will maintain its low interest rate to boost consumption. And Australian third quarter House Price Index is out at the same time. The second quarter Index came in much higher than anticipated, posting its strongest quarterly gain in 5 years.
