Hello. I`m Monica Gibson and these are the Movers and Shakers where we`ll take a look at the major currency performance on this Thursday. First off is the day’s biggest move, which is a decline of point 68% and it’s posted by Sterling/New Zealand. The rate moved South from approximately 2:40 AM till 10 AM. Antipodes are on top of the advancers and decliners table. New Zealand Dollar is point 13% up from the neighboring Ozzy Dollar as Australia’s inflation expectations were reported rising to 4.1%. Swiss Franc trades level with the single currency as the pair hovers near the 1.2 level, keeping pressure on the Swiss National Bank. Greenback moved South as New York Federal Reserve President William C Dudley said raising interest rates too early poses a bigger risk to the economy than acting too late and Buck is followed closely by the other safe-haven Japanese Yen. Loonie Dollar is the most bearish of the three commodity currencies as Canada’s New House Price Index rose weaker than expected at only 0.1%. RICS UK house price balance was reported dropping more than expected and Sterling is at the bottom of the table. Let’s move on to longer terms, where New Zealand/Yen takes the top spot on the weekly bulls chart with a rise of slightly more than 3%. Sterling/New Zealand has declined the most and it’s 3.27% in the red. New Zealand/Yen shows the biggest rise over a month and it’s up by a solid 8.58%.
