Euro/Dollar’s long term average spread is point 38 pips and peak separation of 1.4 pips took place during the last 4 hours. Start of this trading week has been bullish for this pair, it rose by point 62% or 78 pips. Spreads have been generally calm, peaking at only 1.4 pips today at 7:08 in the morning. Moving on to the Cable, long term average and maximum spreads are 1.24 and 2.5 pips respectively. Daily high and low difference is 66 pips and it was posted as the rate rose by point 41%, but it has declined sharply during the last 4 hours. Spreads were slightly elevated today at 6:55 in the morning, but you shouldn’t have been charged more than 2.5 pips. And last up for this overview is the Dollar/Yen. Daily average is point 34 pips and both of the sides were 1.1 pips apart during the last hour. Trend has been shifting here and the biggest move is a decline of point 52% or 56 pips.
