Bank of England will publish its closely watched Inflation Report this Wednesday, so stay with us to find out more. I’m Ben Jones and this is the Economic Calendar. First up at 7 AM is the German Wholesale Price Index for October. The Index returned to growth in September, partially reversing a point 2% decline a month ago. UK Labour Report for October follows at half past nine. Jobless claims continued to decrease in September, and the unemployment now stands at its lowest level since late 2008. Euro Zone Industrial Production for September is out at 10. Industrial output surprised on the downside August, and capital goods saw an especially strong drop. Bank of England will release its highly anticipated Inflation Report at half past ten. Governor Mark Carney will hold a press conference discussing the Report at the same time, and he could provide some hints as to when the bank plans to rise its interest rates. Coming up next at 3 PM GMT are the US Wholesale Inventories for September. Inventories grew more than expected in August as wholesale trade went down. New Zealand Performance of Manufacturing Index for October will be available at half past nine in the evening. The Index has been rising for the past three months and now stands at a five-month high. Japanese Machinery Orders for September are due at 11:50. August orders came in better than expected, driven by a strong increase in overseas orders. Australian Consumer Inflation Expectations for November will be released at midnight. The anticipated annual inflation declined by point 1% in October. UK RICS House Price Balance for October follows one minute later. The Index has been falling for the past four months and now stands at its lowest level in more than a year. And the final estimate of Japanese Industrial Production for September concludes the schedule at half past four AM. The preliminary estimate shows growth, following a 1.9% decline the previous month.
