Euro/Dollar’s daily average spread is point 32 pips and peak separation of point 8 pips took place during the past hour. The pair took a slide of point 62% or 73 pips, but it has since recovered most of the loss from the low of 1 1741. Spreads were slightly bumpy today at 9 AM as the Euro Zone and German ZEW Surveys were out, but the max separation was just point 8 pips. Next up is the Pound/Dollar, which has a daily average of point 84 pips. Peak of 3.9 pips was posted during the past 4 hours. Pound/Dollar shot up today by a total of point 58% or 78 pips, rising above the 1 34 level. Spreads were sent up today at 8:30 as the UK Unemployment Report was out, but 3.9 pips is the line that shouldn’t have been crossed. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 4 and point 8 pips respectively. The pair rose by a total of point 6% or 66 pips as it broke through the 110 level once again. Spreads have been relatively calm here for this pair, max separation has been just point 8 pips.
