There are bearish trends here on this high and low chart, the pair has declined by almost 1% or 116 pips. Spreads peaked today at 9:43 AM during a decline, but you shouldn’t have seen a gap bigger than 2.2 pips. The Cable’s long term average and maximum spreads are 1.22 and 2.9 pips respectively. Pound/Dollar has been moving South from yesterday’s high of 1 5916 and it’s down by a total of point 51% or 81 pips. Spreads were elevated for a number of ticks yesterday shortly after 11 PM GMT, but you shouldn’t have been charged more than 2.9 pips. And last up for this report is the Dollar/Yen, which has a long term average of point 36 pips. Both of the sides were 2 and a half pips apart today. Greenback has continued moving sharply up against the Yen and the pair hit the high of 116 11 after gaining 1.86% or 212 pips. Spreads were higher than usual today at 7:41 in the morning during a rise, but anything far above the max of 2.5 pips shouldn’t be tolerated. This was the main Spike Controller for Tuesday.
