Max of 2.8 pips was recorded yesterday during a rise and German ZEW survey sent the spreads higher today at 9 o’clock, but 2.2 pips is the biggest gap you should have seen at this time. The Cable’s daily average is point 96 pips and both of the sides were 3.1 pips apart during the last 4 hours. The Cable has gained more than 1% over the last 24 hours and this translates into a high and low difference of 159 pips. Spreads have been mostly narrow and the peak of 3.1 pips took place today at 7:34 during a rise. Dollar/Yen’s spreads have averaged at point 3 pips during the last 24 hours, peaking at 2.4 pips during the last hour. Long term volatility is 63 pips and it was posted as the rate gained slightly more than a half a percent.
