First up is the EUR/USD which has made a slight upward move and a rise of 36 pips leaves it point 10% in the green at midday. Sentiment is neutral at 7% short and trading has been active with 57% more than the monthly average. No real chances for traders here, due to the narrow price movement range. Now onto the GBP/USD which shot up early in the day to post a rise of 63 pips, however a subsequent drop off leaves the pair point 12% in the red at midday. Sentiment is bullish at 20% long and trading has been extremely active with a massive 124% more than the monthly average. Bad news for traders here, after a big drop off in price took place once the daily high was reached. Then we have the USD/JPY pair whose price has fallen throughout the day, posting a sharp drop of 41 pips, leaving the pair point 26% in the red at midday. Sentiment is neutral at at balance and traded volume is average. The downtrend here is good news for bears. Next up we turn our attention to the GBP/JPY which started the day on the up, but a sharp drop of 98 pips leaves the pair standing point 38% in the red at midday. Sentiment is strongly bullish at 39% long and trading has been relatively calm at 22% less than the monthly average. The dramatic drop in price looks like bad news for traders. Finally we have the EUR/JPY which has been up and down throughout the day and a drop of 45 pips leaves it point 16% in the red at midday. Sentiment is strongly bullish at 48% long and trading has been active, with 66% more than the monthly average. The relatively flat rate movement shouldn’t hurt traders too much here.
