Euro/Dollar’s average long-term spread stands at point 37 pips, and the daily max of point 7 pips was reached within the last hour. The pair has been inching higher, gaining a total of 40 pips from its lowest point at 1 0570. German ZEW Economic Sentiment was out at 9 o’clock this morning, and spreads peaked at point 7 pips just as the data came out. The Cable’s spreads have averaged at point 74 pips over the last 24 hours, peaking at 3.6 pips within the last 4 hours. Pound/Dollar shot up this morning, gaining 55 pips, but it has since declined from its peak at 1 2446. UK Consumer Price Index was released at 8:30 AM. Both sides separated just ahead of the publication, but 3.6 pips is the most you should have seen. And last up is the Dollar/Yen with the average and peak spreads of point 29 and 1.1 pips, respectively. The last 24 hours have been bearish for this pair, which has lost point 85% or 95 pips.
