Hello, I`m Ben Jones in the Dukascopy TV Center and here are the FX Movers and Shakers for this week’s first trading day. Euro/New Zealand is the mover of the day with a decline of only point 24% as it rose from the daily low after 9 o`clock in the morning. Commodity currency trio leads the advancers and decliners table. Brent crude rose and China trade report surprised on the upside, providing support for the Antipodes and New Zealand Dollar is the most bullish major on the list. Canadian housing starts release disappointed and Loonie Dollar is followed closely by the Australian Dollar. Greenback trades in a close range with a number of majors, including the UK sterling and the other safe-haven Japanese Yen, which is level with the Swiss Franc. Euro zone Sentix investor confidence rose, but less than expected and Single currency wraps up the advancers and decliners table, trailing the Swissie by a fraction. Moving on to longer term charts, New Zealand/Yen leads the weekly bulls chart and it’s up by close to 2%. Australia/Swissie has declined the most and it’s 1.37% in the red. Dollar/Yen has gained the most over a month and it’s up by 5.56%. Euro/Dollar is the most bearish pair and it’s down by 1.6%. This wraps up Monday’s Movers and shakers.
