Most of the morning session has been bearish for the Euro/Dollar and it stood point 31% in the red at 12 o`clock. Traded volume is slightly up from the monthly average and the sentiment is bullish, most have been forecasting the rate to move up. It went in the opposite direction to those forecasts, suggesting losses for investors. Pound/Dollar has declined by a total of 100 pips and it was point 47% down from the opening level at noon. The Cable sees 31% less than typical funds and the sentiment is neutral, 6% short. This should be a successful morning session for bears, but the slow trading should limit moves in funds for both sides. Dollar/Yen rose to the high of 108 16, but a following drop wiped out all of the gains. Turnover is average and the sentiment is neutral, close to a balance. Both sides have seen their chances as the trend changed sharply. Pound/Yen has been mostly moving lower and a loss of point 49% was recorded at midday. This pair has been traded passively, volume is extremely low and the sentiment is neutral, 10% long. Bears have been in better positions so far, but moves in funds should be limited by the calm trading. Euro/Yen’s day has been bearish so far and the rate was point 33% in the red after 12 hours of trading. This instrument has attracted just close to half of the monthly average funds and the sentiment is neutral, 5% short.
