German Industrial Production for January opens this agenda at 7 o’clock in the morning. Production contracted by point 6% in the final month of last year after surging by 3.1% in November. French figures of production follow at a quarter to eight. Production rebounded in December as it gained a half a percent to wipe out November’s decline of point 3%. UK Manufacturing Production for January is up next at 9:30. Production has expanded for six months in a row now and another increase is expected by markets again. January UK trade balance will be available at the same time. December stats disappointed as deficit widened to 13.6 billion from 12.5 billion in November. Then we have a couple of high importance North American employment reports for February released at 1:30 PM GMT, including US stats. Payrolls rose by a solid 200 thousand in January and unemployment rate stood unchanged at 4.1%. Loonie Dollar trades should be monitoring closely the publication of the labour force survey at the same time. Following two months of increases, employment fell by 88 thousand in January. Part-time employment declined, while full-time employment was up. The unemployment rate increased by point 1% during the same month. And last up is the Final US Wholesale inventories report for January at 3 PM. According to preliminary report, inventories increased by point 7% in January, but the final reading is expected to be revised slightly lower.
