Seasonally adjusted unemployment rate stood still in March at 2.9%. German Industrial Production for March follows fifteen minutes later. Industrial production dropped in February at the fastest pace in more than a year. Then there’s a closely watched speech by the Fed Chairman Jerome Powell at a quarter past 7 AM at Swiss National Bank and IMF event in Zurich. UK Halifax House Price Index for April will be available at a half past 7. Prices have increased for two months in a row, but a correction is expected this time around. US Economic Optimism for May follows at a quarter past noon GMT. Optimism deteriorated further in April, but the index still remains above the 50 level, indicating optimism. UK Retail Sales Monitor for April wraps up this agenda shortly after 11 PM.
