All the Loonie Dollar traders might want to tune in at 3 PM GMT, when the Bank of Canada will release its closely watched Monetary Policy Statement. The interest rate has stood unchanged for 11 months, and this trend is expected to continue. US JOLTS Job Openings for October are out at this time as well. The number of openings did increase in September, and they have stood above 5 million for more than a year. And UK NIESR Monthly GDP Estimate for November will be available at the same time. The previous release covered the three months up to October and noted a slightly slower growth than the half a percent gain the previous period. Coming up next at 8 o’clock in the evening is the US Consumer Credit for October. September data surprised on the upside, suggesting customer spending is on the rise. Several news releases from Japan are scheduled at 11:50, including the final estimate of third quarter GDP. The initial estimate suggests the Japanese economy has grown by point 5%, which is the strongest gain in 6 quarters. Bank Lending for November is out at the same time. Lending picked up speed in October, following a 2.2% gain the previous month. UK RICS House Price Balance for November comes at one minute past midnight. The Index has been rising for the past 3 months, although it still remains well below the level reached before the Brexit vote. And Australian Trade Balance for October concludes the schedule at half past midnight. Trade deficit narrowed in September as exports went up and imports inched lower.
