Euro/dollar has been heading higher today and a gain of point 43% was recorded at 12 o`clock. Traded volume is average and the sentiment is bearish, short positions are in the lead by 26%. There’s a strong contrast between the sentiment of the traders and the actual rate movement direction, making losses more likely for investors. Pound/Dollar has had a relatively calm day, volatility measures at only 34 pips and this instrument has attracted less than half of the monthly average funds. Traders sentiment is neutral, 3% short. Both the slow trading and low volatility suggest no major moves in funds are to be expected. Dollar/Yen’s chart shows bearish trend and a loss of a half a percent was posted at midday. Turnover is average and the sentiment is neutral, short positions are up by 10%. The bearish rate movement makes profits very much likely for the small majority of traders that had short positions. Pound/Yen’s decline measures at 77 pips and a loss of point 31% was recorded at noon as the rate rose slightly from the daily low. Traded volume is extremely low and the sentiment is neutral, 5% short. Profits are more likely for those who had short positions, but changes in trading accounts should be limited by the calm trading. Euro/Yen has walked in a relatively narrow range of 36 pips and it was back near the opening level at noon. Traded volume is average and the sentiment is bullish, long positions outweigh short ones by 25%.
