A high importance event for the Aussie Dollar traders is scheduled for Monday, the 6th of October, so let’s take a closer look with the Economic Calendar. I’m Ben Jones German Factory Orders for August will be released at 6 AM GMT. Orders rebounded in July, reversing two months of decline. Euro Zone Retail PMI is out at 10 minutes past 8. The Index has been trending South for the past two months and now stands at its lowest level in more than a year. Euro Zone Investor Confidence for October will be available at noon. Investor confidence plunged in September, having stood at 2.7 points a month ago. Coming up next at 2 PM GMT is the Canadian Ivey PMI for September. August data came in lower than expected, but it still indicated increased purchasing activity. New Zealand Third Quarter NZIER Business Opinion Survey follows at nine o’clock in the evening. Business confidence declined in the second quarter from the 20-year high it reached during the previous two quarters. Australian Performance of Construction Index for September is due at half past ten. Construction sector has been growing at an increasing pace for the past three months. Aussie Dollar traders may want to tune in at 3:30 AM, when the Reserve Bank of Australia will be releasing its closely watched monetary policy statement. The previous statement brought no surprises as the policy makers left the interest rates unchanged. And Japanese Preliminary Leading Index for August concludes the schedule at 5 AM.
