Loonie Dollar shot up against the Japanese Yen hours into the trading day and the pair has gained a solid 1.16%, which is the day’s biggest move. Canadian employment change and trade balance both surprised on upside and Loonie Dollar tops the advancers and decliners table. US Non-Farm employment change and trade report both disappointed, but Greenback is mostly higher as well. Australian trade report was positive, balance jumped into the positive territory and Australian Dollar trades in a close range with the neighboring New Zealand Dollar. German and Euro Zone retail sales reports disappointed and Euro is just a fraction up from the Swiss Franc. UK Sterling trades point 17% up from the Japanese Yen, which is the most bearish of the 8 majors on the table. Moving on to longer term performance charts, Canada/Swissie shows the top rise over a week and it’s up by 1.61%. Sterling/Canada has depreciated the most, standing more than 2% in the red. Canada/Yen has had a bullish month and the pair has gained a total of 2.82%. New Zealand/Canada is the most bearish pair with a similar decline.
