Fourth of July holiday is over, so let’s see where the 8 majors stand at 3 PM GMT on this Wednesday as trading is back in full swing. Greenback gained ground against the neighboring Loonie Dollar only hours into the session and the pair is up by point 53%, which is the day’s top move. US factory orders disappointed, but Greenback tops the table ahead of the day’s key event – publication of the FOMC meeting minutes. UK Services PMI was softer than anticipated, but Sterling is up against most of the rivals. Swiss Franc is almost even with the Single currency. Euro Zone retail sales were up by point 4% and Final Services PMI got an upward revision. Safe-haven Japanese Yen is up only from the commodity currency trio, which is under pressure – Kiwi Dollar is followed by the Ozzy Dollar, which is then in turn point 12% up from the most bearish major, the Loonie Dollar. Weekly bulls chart is led by Canada/Yen and the pair is up by 1.74%. New Zealand/Canada tops the bearish section with a decline of more than 1%. Canada/Yen has had a bullish month and the pair is up by 6.66%. Decliners table is led by Sterling/Canada with a drop of 3.84%.
