New orders for manufactured goods increased by 7.8 billion US Dollars or 1.6 percent in March. UK Retail Sales Monitor for May is out shortly after 11 PM. Sales decreased by 4.2% on a like-for-like basis from April 2017 and this was the first reading in the negative territory since late 2017. Japanese Household Spending for April will be available at 11:30. Spending was point 7% down from a year ago in March and this was the second month in the red in a row. Australian Current Account for first quarter is up next at 1:30 AM. Deficit of the current account expanded sharply in the fourth quarter of last year to 14 billion Australian Dollars. China Services PMI for May is the penultimate release at 1:45 in the morning. Services sector remained in the growth territory in April as index rose to 52.9. A high importance Reserve Bank of Australia Monetary Policy Announcement wraps up this calendar at 4:30 AM. Cash rate has stood unchanged at 1.5% since mid-2016.
