Euro/Dollar’s average spreads are equal at point 26 pips in all three time ranges. Peak separation of 1.2 pips was recorded during the last 4 hours. This pair has been moving sharply down from the high of 1 2449 and it’s down by slightly more than 1% or 126 pips. Last 24 hours have been calm in terms of spreads, peak of only 1.2 pips took place today at 8:28 in the morning as the rate moved lower. All three Cable’s averages are below 1 pip and peak separation of 7.6 pips took place during the last hour. Pound/Dollar has dropped from the high of 1 5719 and it’s down by a total of point 64% or 100 pips. Spreads were volatile for a number of ticks today at 9:30 AM as the UK Services PMI was out, but you shouldn’t have seen a gap bigger than 7.6 pips. And last up for this report is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 35 and 2.2 pips respectively. Greenback has been moving towards the 120 level against the Yen and the pair is up by point 51% or 61 pips. Spreads have been mostly narrow and the peak of 2.2 pips took place yesterday at 3:35 PM GMT. This brings Wednesday’s main Spike Controller to an end, but these stats will be updated every hour, so do stay tuned.
