Pound/Dollar’s long term average and maximum spreads are point 84 and 4.3 pips respectively. The Cable gained a massive 1.32% or 165 pips yesterday, but most of the gains were given up after the high of 1 2697 was reached. Spreads were elevated for a while yesterday at 11 PM GMT, but 4.3 pips is the most you should have been charged. Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has a long term average spread of point 31 pips. Max separation has been 4.2 pips. Greenback has been on a slide against the Yen, dropping by close to 1% or 114 pips to hit the low of 113 58.
