US ISM Manufacturing PMI release has had the most influence on the spreads for this pair, but you shouldn’t have seen a gap bigger than 2.3 pips. Spreads have averaged at point 78 pips during the last 24 hours for the Cable. Both of the sides were 4.6 pips apart during the last hour. High and low chart shows bearish pattern, Pound/Dollar has declined by point 42% or 63 pips. UK Construction PMI publication sent the spreads higher today at 9:30 in the morning, but 4.6 pips is the biggest separation you should have seen. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 25 and 4.8 pips respectively. Rate hit the low of 122 77 yesterday, but it has since gained point 36% or 44 pips. Spreads were elevated as the US Manufacturing PMI was out yesterday at 3 PM GMT, but anything far above the max of 4.8 pips should be questioned.
